For this canon, the story follows the 16 year old protagonist Kristian Reddick, a young, cinnamon skinned African American male who has distinct reddish-brown hair and freckles. He was born on November 8, 1999 (Scorpio)  to parents unbeknownst to him, and was put up for adoption in 2001. He was adopted by his grandparents, Dorothy and Dennis Reddick, and was raised by them as if he were their own son. However, being old means that they cannot provide the same liberties as normal parents can. Dennis has recently died of old age, and this experience made him consider finding who his real parents are. After swiping a letter from another “Reddick” expressing grief for his grandfather’s passing from his grandmother, he uses the hints from the envelope to find traces of his birth mother, and someone who can give him answers. Unfortunately, the source of the letter is from a recently shut down residence, and with further investigation, he finds that the writer has been moving back and forth between locations for years. His quest to find his parents goes into full swing as he travels from city to city, searching for answers during his summer of adventure. The first thing on his agenda? Find other people with red hair.
